Petition for Offline Solo..
This is one of the most baffling decision to require a constant online connection for single player.. There is only an upside for them if enabling it.. Specially when I have 45 minutes of "playtime" just looking at the first sequence of things. I have controlled my character for about 10 seconds.. Fine you servers are trash.. Not my our fault. Enable Offline play for solo and local saving.. Shouldn't be too hard.. Seeing how they have spent 50 plus hours "fixing" servers..

Its been 3 years stop doing +1 .. they legit don't care or check forums for "petitions"

The only time I've seen devs care is because they're in early access looking for feedback.

Honestly can't believe the game is still alive. I hope they add offline before completely stopping support.

I can´t believe that even many years after realease and til year one there is absurd fear from servers being shutted down. And look... servers are here years and years. Yet there are still people what will claim that they will shut it down in a moment. :D

You are missing the point. We want offline mode so we don't have to worry about servers ever. I got duped into thinking single player was offline in this game. No reason it needed to be online only. I no longer buy any game that doesn't offer an offline mode. If you want to waste your money renting a game for 60 or 70 bux then blow your brains out, some of us have gotten wise and won't do it anymore. We want to own our games and access them even if official servers go down. Thankfully some devs/publishers are coming around like Neocore with 40k Inquisitor Martyr and Wayfinder. Some people don't like Redfall but it did get it's offline mode before support finally ended. Time for consumers to stand for game preservation and hopefully devs/publishers follow suite.

Hysterical reaction about a game that you'll forget about in a while anyway. You want an offline mode for a game that has been predicted for years that support will end soon, but so far those forecasts haven't come true. For YEARS. The developers obviously plan to keep the servers active for quite a while and if you think that complaining on the steam forum where there is no one and where you won't get a single response from the developers will achieve anything, then you're laughable. I got what I expected for my money. One-time fun and in the DLC I got another portion of extra fun where there were more options for playing and combinations to other dimensions. I got a game that I played in cooperation with my friends and it was fully worth it in terms of hours. I have all the things there, a tuned combination of items and I can move on. And the rest of you who are almost jumping off the roof here that something that has an online only mode in the 21st century won't play this game for that long anyway. The vast majority of you haven't even really turned on this game yet, and the time that passes before the servers are shut down will make you lose interest in this game anyway. So have fun barking at the tree. It will definitely move.

Good someone gave you a jester. Well deserved since you still don't get it. Go ahead waste your time and money on online only games if you want, those of us that have woken up to the scheme will only pay for things we can own and access anytime we want, and revisit in the future as we do for retro games now. Game preservation is priority number one for me. It should be for those that work on these games as well. I would hate to work on a game 5 or more years only to have my work go to the e-waste landfill after a few years never to be enjoyed again.

It's not just the preservation either. For this game in particular, even when I "played" it last year it was disconnecting often. Nothing quite as fun as "disconnecting" in your single player game. Pcf are truly something when it comes to using logic.

agreed solo offline play
Speerek 16 DIC 2024 a las 14:32
There is no solo offline? Bruh, I'm glad I checked discussion before I bought, nearly broke my no. 1 rule - do not buy games where singleplayer cannot be played offline
Speerek 16 DIC 2024 a las 14:32
Thanks
FreshRevenge 16 DIC 2024 a las 21:24
Damn! Still no offline mode. One of the reasons I didn't buy it when it launched. Well looks like I will still not buy it, even with it being 10 bucks.

I translated your post for you. "Always online with working servers for years? Damn... I will never buy such a thing, because I live in cave and cannot afford normal internet in 21st century. And because I think that always online means that its hurting my feelings and my PC even when majority of games I play or I´m interested in, are almost same. But I will spit nonsenses about one of the most creative FPS game. Whee I can enjoy tons of working synergizing perks and builds. All of them are working, story is at least interesting, but even then I will not buy it, because I´m afraid of boogyman called Always Online what NEVER affect my gameplay."

Yeah it never affects you, except disconnecting while playing single and losing access to game you bought after game loses support, and probably some other things I can't think of on the spot, you clown

How many years you´re talking about losing support? I remember that same sentence few years ago when you felt constant fear that game lose support. Years of bla bla game lose support. How many hours do you want to have in this game? This game is not endless. It has it´s limit. And disconnecting? I had 7 disconnects in my entire playtime of this game. You need to get a job to have normal internet.

"and probably some other things I can't think of on the spot, you clown" - Thats because it is all you have. reeee lost support." Oh wait... this game is STIL supported after years of idiotic claims about servers being shutted down. Something is not right, huh?

Losing access to the game you bought. And do you realize that you NEVER BOUGHT SINGLE GAME? Did you ever bothered to read EULA? You´re byuing just licence to play. Even when you have DvD with the game you´re NOT OWNING IT. Jesus... people in these days and their constant paranoia. :D

I want to be sure that if I'll ever want to return to this game I woulde be able to do so. I don't want ANY kind of disconnecting during singleplayer playthrough. Okay, I can write more of these if you want - collecting data (data mining) at all times during playing, sure, a lot of games gather data, but having to stay online at all times makes it easier for developers to gather and then sell data. It's all about control, making singeplayer online only helps them sell new games, for example sequels. They announce a sequel and shut down first game to make players more inclined to buy a new one. Injecting microtransactions to the game, having to stay online at all times helps sell microtransactions. You can't resell them (although this one does not apply here, more on consoles but it fits here). Bruh, I do now that we buy licenses my cutie patootie, we all use term "buying games" because its easier and was rooted in gaming speech. And with this license I can still play games that were taken from stores, example Fable III or Unreal Tournament, they had online parts but singleplayer was still singleplayer. You really thought you did some kind of 'gotcha moment with this license argument
