Abilities often feel a bit naff when you mostly get by single or double tapping enemy for big damage leech heals, but can be handy to get out of annoying situations when the game gets a bit confused.
I think it is the gear you need, i mean it was super easy on the demo with WT 5, but i got good gear no legendarys but good enough to kill just everyone very easy. Currently i finished a quest now "Legacy of the outriders" and got a legendary weapon (2.7k weapon power) i will see how this will kill now but before the 2k weapon i got sometimes in serious trouble.
Then you have not upgraded your gear right, easy street.
Still op still 1 shooting everything but bosses.
When the big boys are coming for me I use Slow Trap with Thunder Dome, gives me 100% Shield.
Mind explaining how?
I'm level 14 playing on World Threat 7. Regular enemy go down in a head shot. Tanky enemy like Ironclads down in a couple of head shots.
Trick I'm finding is realise as a technomancer your abilities are more just there to allow you to shoot. Get a nice automatic sniper rifle and blighted rounds, packs of charging melee just fall in one go, even captains just melt. Need to reload? Deploy your mines or freeze turret to keep the enemy back until you're ready to unload again.
Blighted rounds on cooldown and more tank short ranged are charging, pack a secondary high damage per hit rifle, if it can apply bleed or burn? You're golden.
Things like miniguns, assault rifles and such? Screw 'em.
My main enemy is map design and that some encounters are heavily scripted to bend me over in a tightly packed area with AoE mortar enemy and waves and waves of melee.... that's when melee, leg it and mine comes in. :)
Edit: Oh and should mention, playing as a typical Technomancer keeping your weapon at a decent damage per shot (Not just going on firepower rating) works out much much better.
Great thing about higher world tier is it artificially boosts the max level of gear you can use. So matching weapons to your level is exactly what not to do. ;)
Any tips on how to do that? I'm spending 1-2 full assault rifle clips on most enemies as level 8. My starter attack skill can one-shot low health enemies, but the lengthy cooldown makes it unreliable as a primary method. All my gear is 6+ and most of it blue.
wut. no it doesn't.
the entire point of higher WT is that you CAN boost the items, so you're supposed to boost the items via crafting.
set it to a low WT and see what happens with high level gear
