Can't Remove "Outriders Demo" from Geforce Experience Game List after upgrading to Full Version
Installed and Played the Outriders Demo, until 3-30-2021, Then I Pre-Loaded Outriders which automatically deleted the Outriders Demo. Since I still wanted to play the Outriders Demo, I installed the Outriders Demo again. Now I have Outriders and Outriders Demo in the steam Library. - I have then removed the Demo on 4-1-2021 from steam library (Uninstall) and have been playing Outriders just fine... In "STEAM" it just shows the name of the game "OUTRIDERS" -- However in the newest version of Geforce Experience, it still shows up as Outriders Demo. -- I have uninstalled, reinstalled Outriders, i have uninstalled, reinstalled STEAM, I have manually deleted all the outriders and steam folders, used ccleaner to remove all traces of steam and outriders from pc, I have even manually deleted the NVCONTAINER files which hold the game listings for Geforce Experience... but no matter what I do, "Outriders Demo" keeps plague'n my Game's List... I have removed the game from the games list, and re-added the full game several times - even though I have the FULL Outriders installed, and no traces of "Outriders Demo" anywhere in the registry or game folders that I can find, it ALWAYS stays "Outriders Demo" in the Geforce Experience game list.... (any ideas) ? and yes the game still works fine... but its sooooooo annoying to see "demo" always there in the game list... I just want it to say "OUTRIDERS" cries. -and no -- I will not reinstall Windows 10. (please help, and +1) if its happened to you before, I'm sure I am not alone in this.

you can ignore it.
I am one of those... OCD people, it's really hard for me to ignore something that's just a little bit off..... even though there is no REAL problem, I would still like to fix it ;)

i think all you have to do is wait until the next update for nvidia to remove/update it.

thats on Geforce's side. so just gotta wait for Nvidia to fix that one
Thank you. Hopefully it's on their end of things... I thought it took the "Game Name" from your local system, or game folder, list of installed programs, or steam library etc...

you can try 1 thing, in the nvidia experience thingy there is an option to rescan for games, try that.

If you right click in your library there should be an option to remove it from your library.
I did the Scan for games, and the re-scan from inside the options even after removing - but neither helped. I'll just wait and see if NVidia fixes it with an update or something or try support there if it's not in the next update. - I just hope I'm not the only one this is happening to. Thx for the help )
Just wanted to chime in, the problem fixed itself today - did not need to download any patch or driver update... stealth update from NVIDIA I guess, or the Geforce Experience uses some kind of server to display your own games to you in the game listing area...
