UE Engine Crash
Anyone else getting a Unreal Engine crash just after the cinematic intro with the bird?

Full version have now 1 - 15 fps

This worked for me. Thank you! The game loaded instantly. Way faster than normal.

The image looks really washed out though. So whatever is causing the issue, I hope it is fixed soon so this work around is not needed.

Update: Crashed after about 20-30 minutes of playing and is now happening again. Workaround only seemed to be temporary. I can no longer get into the game. Exact same issue is happening.

None of the suggested fixes have worked. forcing dx11, disable screen optimization, verify file integrity, blah blah blah. Now on the uninstall and reinstall attempt. I bought this for myself and a friend. neither of us can play. He said EFF it going back to Valheim cuz it works.

This, plus i had some artifacting the first time it launched. Second time it actually launched ( just a few minutes ago ) it was 20x worse at the menu. And of course it crashed as soon as the launch timer hit zero as well :griefer:

Can hear a swoosh from a video starting, then straight to UE error screen with this. Then it locks itself up after reporting with a manual restart of the process CrashReportClient.exe to get it out of the locked state of "running". Trying to stop it through steam don't work either.

Same here, but i get this while playing the first Section of the game.
After i setup Camp and talk to the guy with the Hat.

Newest Windows 10 update, latest NVidia, brand new high-end comp with a 3080 - crashes on start. Don't even see a game screen, just a black screen that hangs for a bit and then dumps me back to the Epic Games Launcher.

Did not have this issue with the Steam demo.
