Can't start the game
I am stuck on the start screen, with an issue similar to the one which I encountered with The Messenger.

Hey Wok, thanks for letting us know, this is rather odd. Are you able to move the mouse or not at all? I would suggest you delete the game and download it again - please keep us posted. Also did you get the game via Xbox Game Pass or by purchasing it here on Steam? Thanks!

I downloaded the game via the Microsoft Store with the PC Game Pass.

I am able to move the cursor around. I also got a pop-up window asking me to share my account details with the game, which was not the case for The Messenger. It seems the CPU is hard at work for the game process, which was also not the case for The Messenger.

I will try again later. Maybe it would work better if I downloaded the game directly via the XBox App. However, I could not try yet because the "recent additions" are not yet updated in the XBox App.

Are you using a PC monitor or a TV?. If you are using a TV your TV resolution needs to match your in game resolution. That worked for me.

I think the issue is likely due to a bug with some games on the Microsoft Store.

Having the same exact problem on Xbox Game Pass PC. I also downloaded through MS Store as the page was not up yet. Will try to download through Xbox App and see if it gets fixed.

Salut, j'ai le même problème. J'ai téléchargé le jeu via Ms Store. J'ai le jeu via le Xbox game Pass. J'arrive sur l'écran d'accueil du jeu. Je peux bouger la souris mais il ne se passe rien. j'ai juste l'ouverture en arrière plan d'une fenêtre pour connecter mon profil au Xbox Live.
Mon pc est branché sur une TV. J''étais en 4K, j'ai changé la résolution pour du 1080P et toujours pareil. impossible d'aller plus loin. Une petite idée ?

Hi, this will also be fixed as soon as the 1.0.1 patch is live. We're waiting on Microsoft to push it live currently, hopefully it will be out soon.

Ok. En attendant, je tente de le télécharger par le Xbox game Pass directement. On sait jamais. Je mettrai à jours si ça marche.

Le problème persiste après avoir désinstallé le jeu et réinstallé depuis le Xbox game pass. Ce qui est curieux, c'est que quand je lance le jeu, le XBLA se lance en arrière plan et me demande de m'identifier, en boucle. Je vais attendre le patch.

Hi all,

Patch 1.0.1 is out now for Game Pass users - this should fix the issue some of you had when starting the game and unable to go past the main menu.

Also included:
- Fixed an issue where the game would crash if resolution was changed before loading a game
- Fixed an issue where the game could lock up when changing resolution
- Fixed an issue where clues would appear unintentionally

Please let us know if your previous issue continues after this update. Thank you again for your patience.

Hi Arathaur,

I got the game through Xbox Game Pass PC as well, and it still doesn't launch, in spite of having downloaded the 900Mo update. I see the start screen, then the XBox Live window pops up and logs me in. When I click on "Let's Play" it says "Unable to sign in on Xbox Live - you do not have enough available memory to execute this operation"... I have 100 Go on my hard drive and 32 Go of RAM, so it must be a bug.

Would you know how to fix this?
