Evil plot is gained by killing alot of humans in the story by choice. Killing patrolling humans doesn't count.
You can actually get into both plots while "innocent", but for obvious reasons that doesn't last long.
I can list exact steps required for evil later on, but a good start is delaying the mission where help a guys son who is in a gang one so you have to go out of the city to find him, losing at the boss encounter and then choosing resist.
Another method is intentionally going into the slave plot, as there are more methods to kill there, but you also require more kills so I think going from normal is easier.
did you know how to use drugs form heinz (5bottles) and how to play drugs ending?
