Commandos has been a fundamental childhood video game. We owed a pirated copy of the US version back then. I recently bought accidently the retail box version of european release.. and first thing that I noticed was the lack of silence in the level ambience. I have the option to switch between noisy (which is set default) and silent mother nature.. the problem is... it doesn't change a freakin thing! Maybe something to do with that directx 5 ♥♥♥♥. Anyway.. I suppose I'm gonna buy the american boxed version too and play them happily on Pentium III.
And the noisy mother nature option doesn't work anyway, that's why they removed it in patch.
