WINDOWS 11 ISSUES

Hello guys, i just bought the game and it doesen't work:
if i start the legacy version i have the problem of DIRECTX 5, i arleady tried to change game name from comandos.exe to commandos.exe but nothing change.
if i start normal version, it starts, BUT with black screen, and sometimes without sound (and sometimes yes xD)

I arleady tried also to enable directPlay, but still nothing
I hope somebody can help me (:

As per Noob, I'm experiencing issues....
The game is working fine on my laptop (Win10, Nvidia GEFORCE gtx) but now got a Win11 with AMD Radeon RX6650XT graphics. All I'm getting is the small black window with the audio. Also tried the exe file name change fix but to no avail. Also tried changing compatibility in the game properties...nothing.

Okay I fixed it on Windows 11 using these replacement files:

Hope that works too for anybody else with the same problem!

That's weird, the link still works for me... You can get there yourself though: head to the Commandos wiki on Fandom and look for the page called "Fixing Commandos".

I had the same problem. I updated the AMD Radeon software to the Adrenalin version and since then it runs like a little angel

dani4...thanks for that suggestion. Just updated my rig and, voila! Transferred the saved games from the laptop to the desktop and I'm up and running. Cheers.
