Commandos' videos are compressed with Cinepack video codec. Considering i have LAV Decoder installed, i disabled Cinepack video decoding through this decoder and now in-game videos work.

Thanks dude, this also fixes videos not showing for the GOG version is anyone is interested, I tested it on both.
I tried to do this in Windows Lav property in Formats Tab. But it doesn't work for me, but I think you did this another way?
One more question - How did you determine that the problem was in Cinepack video codec?
just in case you didn't find a solution yet, follow these steps:
1- search for the LAV Video App in you Windows menù and launch it.
2- Once launched, you'll be in teh Video Settings page.
3- On top you'll find the Formats tab. Click on it.
4- Scroll down the list, until you'll find the Cinepack codec and unselect it.
5- Click on Apply or OK, and that's it.
6- Enjoy the tutorial videos :)
