like tomi mentioned, what region are you at?
i'm also on ps5, i changed from playing on steam because i was running into too many troubleshooting issues
That is the problem, the game is almost dead in Asia.
The matchmaking pool doesn't change if you switch in game lobby, the matchmaking pool change if you change your Steam Download Region, a lot of games on Steam works exactly like that (Left 4 Dead 2 for example), go to Steam > Settings > Downloads > Download Region, now, if you are from Asia/Oceania, the best region for you is West coast, so, change the download region to "US - Los Angeles".
Restart Steam, open the game, remember to set the connection type to red bars before start the matchmaking and try again. I'm sure you will get more games, and TOTALLY PLAYABLE thanks to the rollback.
Try again and comeback if result.
Edit: you can use any lobby, doesn't matter, if you use the australians lobbies meanwhile the Steam download region is on "US - Los Angeles" you will queue (Ranked or Casual) in US West Coast despite you are in the australian lobby.
I currently find i cannot enter the game either, but my problem is "Failed network connection" since the other day. First time i have an issue with the game.
Maybe the problem come from the ports, try to activate DMZ on your PC. Probably your nat is closed.
