Lol I run this game 100% smooth on max settings with a GTX 760 and an i5 4460. I have no slowdowns whatsoever. This game could probably run on a toaster, just like Guilty Gear Xrd.
Slow motion can happen online for a couple of reasons : the latency between you and your opponent can be too high and the game slows down for both of you in order to catch up (you can see if that's the case by looking at the frame delay on top of the screen, anything more than 3-4 is already too much) or your opponent has a ♥♥♥♥ computer and has below 60 FPS, or FPS drops when using supers with a lot of effects. It will cause the game to slow down for you so that your opponent can catch up with his lower than ♥♥♥♥-tier computer.
If you have slow motion offline tho, it's 100% coming from your PC. Clean it up.
I remember a match that whenever I use Piccolo Hellzone Granade + Vegeta assist a really big slowdown happened ,but my fps were still rock solid 60.
The game probably slowdown on your end so both players dont get a desync because the other player might be runing at less than 60FPS. I remember that happening on GGXRD Sign too.
It's your enemy's PC that's a potato... In fighting games, both players need to be at an "even" ground, so take that into consideration, and the game chooses the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC between the two players as the base.
This happened in Guilty Gear, it's nothing new if you guys played previous titles by ASW.
Cheaper in the long run, you choose your own components and it doesn’t come pre-installed with garbage bloatware
