Seriously now: Every single character in the game has a combo that gets at least half of your life. But only level 7 Adult Gohan or some specific characters with Sparking Blast can kill you in one combo, normally using 7 bars as well.

Android 16 + Nappa = (automatically keep away & lot's of beams) *Means he likes to charge in
Ginyu + Android 16 = (probably likes to finish games using gimicks) *transform+suicide attack
Adult Gohan last, Krillin (get them in as fast as possible and kill them)
*Krillin with the senzu beans, Gohan (combo + end with power up rinse and repeat)
Cell + Goku Black + Goku Blue = teleports..........so many teleports
etc. etc.
Would say first learn blocking/ basic combos than matchups. Just takes practice
but the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing are the assists, they just ripped of marvel vs. capcom.
also assists in general suck, this game doesnt give good visual clues on whats going on if someone just spams their assists. it makes noobs who spam win and noobs who try to really learn getting wrecked without really knowing what happened on screen.
assists basically suck in general
Sure the game is very fast paced, but you can react if you know what could do your opponent. And that, you can only get it by playing fights a lot.
I remember when I first picked the game and I panicked and thought I couldn't react. But now I can "see" what happens because of the time spent on it.
Find someone better than you, that would gladly help you learn the basics and you'll see that in no time you'll be bale to use yourself those nice combos.
And the ToD (touch of Death) usually need a lot of resources (ki and/or Sparking and/or being in the corner)
Was the necro neccesary?, on an over 2 years old thread?
Lmao just spend some time practicing, bud.
skilled players will always beat button mashers
