Can Dragon Ball FighterZ be ported to mobile?
Dragon Ball FighterZ is made using unreal engine. Fortnite was made with unreal engine and it has been ported to iOS, it would be possible.

PS If anyone working for Bandai Namco is reading this, they better not, because I'm not giving anyone ideas and they're the only ones that port games like Xenoverse from consoles to PC.

fortnite looks like ♥♥♥♥♥, dragonball fighterz look like current gen.
It will never happen, switch cannot handle it either, MAYBE on 30fps with low settings and 720P docked, but nothing more fancy than that.
...I´d like to see you play a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fighting game decently on mobile.

Nintendo switch was be able to run DOOM :)

Doom is graphically less demanding than FighterZ.
Not to mention, it looks like ♥♥♥♥ on switch lol.

What are you talking, I own both and DBFZ is not really demanding. Switch can handle it at 60 FPS easy.

switch has a tegra 1 GPU and a 1.0ghz CPU, do you REALLY think fighterZ could run on that?
No, just no.

Doom is not even running at a solid 30fps at 720P ultra low settings (custom made for switch) and you expect fighterz to be easier to run, while it is a far superior game visually? not to mention, doom is 2 years old.

Switch could handle Mario Kart 8 at true 1080p with constant 60 FPS which is for sure more demanding than a Fighter.
Also the OS gives you low level access to optimize games unlike android or IOS which boosts performance significantly at same specs.

DBFZ is not a demanding game, my GPU is at around 42% usage on WQHD everything max with 200% oversampling (so basically 5760x2880 resolution). Turn it down to 1080p with no oversampling and maybe to high settings and the Switch will have no problems at all.

I always think the same. But then I recall kof being quite successful on android (and presumably ios as well) with its ports. And don't forget that "mobile" can also mean tablet or some high end phone which supports usb hosting for controllers and maybe even hdmi output.

mariokart 8 is a wiiu game and it shows. Poor texturing, low polygon character models, no shadow mapping, nothing really high-end.
It better run at 60fps, since the wiiu version did not even come close to that.

After all they brought sf4 to the 3ds. And it's one of the better versions tbh. I could imagine the switch handling a 720p upscaled version of dbfz.

SF4 was made from the ground up for 3ds, it is not the same engine...

Thats a bit of an exaggeration for going from MT framework to MT framework mobile. But ok, would love some sources tho. I believe 90% was c&p.

However with dbfz being ue4 reasons for or against a port are probably not technical nature. Just like crossplay.

And yet it looks better than many PS4 games that use similar artstyle. The Wii U Version was locked at 59 FPS and barely did have fps drops if any at all. Stop spreading misinformation. DBFZ is not demanding as proven above. The Switch supports UE4, everything else is just finetuning. It's just a Fighting Game after all.

This is a bad idea, fortnite mobile is already bad on phone and if you really think about it FighterZ is only playable with a controller
