It's the game's thread... on Steam. If I went on gamefaqs PS4 and asked a question related to the steam platform, I'd get the same response.

My guess is that you don't, you just need a pre-order.

You need ps plus for anything online multiplayer related on PS4 so yes you'll need it for the beta

This is true, unless the beta has an offline part, like MVCI did (which was a part of the story mode)

no, for the monster hunter world beta u dont need ps+ to play online
