SSJ Goku vs SSB Goku for anchor position.

Hi everyone, I'm a little new to the fighting game scene, but I've been doing pretty good for myself as of late. I'm trying out a new team where I run Adult Gohan/Bardock/SSB/SSJ Goku. The problem is, I know a lot of the information out there is outdated regarding those two gokus, and I was wondering which Goku is better for the anchor position nowadays. SSJ, or SSB? (P.S. I know I didn't mention base Goku, but I would be open to using him in my anchor position as well, although I'm primarily wanting to use ssb/ssj goku.) Thanks.

I would say SSB because he have side switch and grab moves. You want your anchor to have some tools to be able to fight by themselfs if you have bars. And SSJ Goku nerf on his 2M also decreased his side switch mixup.

SSB has better tools while SSJ has a better assist. Even though SSB's A assist was buffed, his B assist is his best one, imo. SSJ still has the edge due to having a beam assist, which gives you a lot of options.

You are mostly running point and mid characters on your team. Not that its bad, but you sure do need an anchor with a good assist and good tools. You could try running Bardock point, SSB mid and A.Gohan with C assist as anchor. Sure, C assist is kinda risky, but I've been caught by it many times. Lab out a few teams with different assists and see which suits your playstyle the best.

Goku Blue is better IMO.

Goku Blue has more mixup options as well as a high damage level 5 that he can spend meter on given the sparking for SO MUCH DAMAGE.

Goku Blue lacks neutral, which can be a problem when the opponent keeps their distance.
