Worst patch in my entire life with fighting games
Just to clarify...I like balance and I do like buffs and nerfs as long as they are justfied. I dont like it when developers cut their own game. Spending hours of hours in trainingsmode with several teams and characters just for the reason that one patch destroys everything.

My consequence is that I will never ever buy an Arcsys Game anymore.

Start the flame wars gents.

is this your first fighting game? cause it seems so, almost every fighting game in new generation changes their system with new patches now a days, at the end its all about to improve itself so the game feels more balanced for almost every character, there was no point of in this game to keep having the sea of cell and kid buu etc, this patch changed the game for the better and the neutral and defense options improved

Okay to clarify it. I am playing fighting games since 25 years and there is nothing worse than cutting the games legs by making a lot of things like double lvl 1 super useless. Its very disrespectful. Players spending hours over hours in cool and long and hard and good combos just to get them deleted in a patch. And no fighting games these days dont get such enormous cutdowns like they did with DBFZ the second time now.

Also the EU lobbies are more or less empty since the patch. Seems that it split the community.
A lot of people stopped playing because of that patch. I am not the only one who thinks that it was the worst patch. Also a lot of streamers said that they just patched out the fun and its also my opinion. The lobby numbers speak for themselves anyway. Very very disappointing but thats Arcsys in a nutshell.

Also finding a match is a pain in the arse....I guess I know the answer. Then still no real anti-ragequit system and no improvements on that netcode.
Time to move on - TEKKEN AND MORTAL KOMBAT FTW!

Well , it doesnt mean you cannot use double super, it only isolate the problem of character variation. Double supers are good if you have only 1 characters left, then you need to use it. It is still an option not nessesary.
If you have played for 25 years, you know that Neutral > Combo,
If I have played against you, and you never manage to get 1 hit of me, why do you need double supers, when it is easier to do normal combo and finish of the opponent, without losing the yomi aspects of the game

I know that neutral gaming > combos but I personally give a damn about neutral gaming in DBFZ. I only played it to style. Maybe now you understand me.

"double lvl 1 super useless" and "Players spending hours over hours in cool and long and hard and good combos just to get them deleted in a patch". So did you spend hours upon hours to learn how to do double lvl 1 supers? The expertise you got from being in training mode still counts and is useful for you as combos still exist. If you spent those hours just to learn double supers and only thing you had going in your team was double supers... yeah then the patch sucks for you. Double supers still exist and are useful if you manage to finish off character with them. If you hate neutral then good luck with Tekken.

You must not have much experience with fighting games, then.

It feels quite a bit like Season 1, but better in most ways (if not in every way.). Well that's how I feel about it anyway from my 1st few matches of Season 2 so far.

Ok... I'll be honest. I don't like the double lvl 1 remove, either. It was fun and now it's just useless. But I saw a streamer work around it by calling the assist supers which he says that characters positionate themselves in a way they'll always hit.

I haven't played the game, yet. But I'm still very interested. But really? Worst patch in fighting history? Heh heh heh.

yeah it is to me because like I said I love combos and doing them. With that patch a lot of them are useless. I am a combo machine and only played the game for that. It literally makes no sense to me to cut the legs and then the arms of the game.

Now you can actually defend against your opponent, so i would say that the new patch is by far the best patch
