Square Color Rules?

You go up by defeating same square colors or it doesnt matter? For example you are Orange but you only get Yellows and Oranges, will you go PINK or that doesnt work that way?

From what I've gathered in my playtime and from reading. You can only go down or up a square color by winning/losing to the same square color.

i.e. you could be a pink square, lose to a yellow square 100 times in a row and not change colors... However, lose to anothe pink square I think it's 10 times? and you'll go down a square color to orange. And vice versa.... Could be a yellow square, beat a pink square 100 times in a row and not go up a square color until you win against yellow squares.

I guess ill set my queue options to SAME COLOR all the time then now ahha

That's a horrible system.... Should be based on an MMR, not by people of the same color. Dang racists!

I believe its +/- 10 wins to the same color, if you get +10 wins you advance to the next rank and if you get -10 you get demoted, so if you do 3 matches against someone the same color as you and you lose 2 and win 1, you should be at a net of -1, unless that -1 demoted you
