The only thing endangering DBFZ is if some insanely good fighting game gets released.
DBZF is a 2d fighter jump force is a 3d arena fighter/brawler.
Its like comparing Quake to Counter Strike or Starcraft to Total war or Final fantasy to Baldurs gate.
3d arena anime fighter/brawlers are usualy less tehnical and usaly not comlex enough to acualy have a real competative scene. But they do focus more on flashines and are more frendly to people who dont acualy play fighting games.
A big warning for Jump Force multiplayer on PC. JF will probably be dead within 2 weeks, I'd bet alot on it. Other 3d anime brawlers, naruto to boruto/shinobi strikers/, these games tend to not be populated on PC for a variety of reasons. Xenoverse has more people than I thought it would.
If you have a ps4 I highly recommend getting Jump Force on ps4.
I just bought DBFZ and it's free weekend but I've gotten just as many matches as my ps4 copy and on my fancy new monitor.
If you want to play an anime fighter online, Fighterz is your best bet, imo.
TL:DR get DBFZ over JF for long term multiplayer on PC.
JF isn't the first anime cross over fighting game that Shonenjump has released. They always have some convoluted gauge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the games always die within the week they launch.
