Don't be a salty little ♥♥♥♥♥ over your OST. Plenty of other options if you don't like the music. You act like DBFZ is the only game to do this, Xenoverse did the music pack as well as plenty of other games.
Mods open the doors to exploitaton. I remember Left 4 Dead 2 and the "wall hacking" epidemic was actually just a mod that made everythign transparent, wasn't a hack at all.
Mods can cause connection issues, just all kind of problems. Not saying the DID or WILL, but CAN.
Steam has a built in music player, and there are plenty of low impact media players. Mute ingame volume and play your own music if it is SUCH a big deal.
So before you go touting how people took the greedy route, maybe stop and say... hey, before I make an idiot of myself, what other reasons would they not allow mods on a a competitive game based around PvP.
1. You just compared a texture/transparency mod to an OST mod #OMEGALUL
2. It's been proven countless times over that OST mods are harmless to a games integrity and do not cause any kinds of issues. It's purely user based and does not affect competitive PvP in any way.
3. It is greed, because when they released the same garbage music pack for Xenoverse, people realized how bad of a deal it was and decided to just patch in their own custom OST. The only reason why they haven't taken that option away from people on Xenoverse (You can still mod OST) is because they probably found out about it too late and don't support the game anymore.
4. A music player isn't anywhere near the same level of experience. It's way too inconvenient, and isn't as immersive versus what people can achieve with mods. If that wasn't the case, people wouldn't spend hours making OST mods in the first place.
5. Constructive thinking and speaking facts does not make somebody salty. But it's already evident that you have no idea what you're talking about, so I didn't expect you to know what any of that means anyways. Maybe one day you'll become enlightened and will get Bamco's balls out of your mouth, or you'll stop trolling. Whatever it is you were just doing, because you sure as well weren't speaking anything that made sense.
