Blue has very poor and situational assist, which is why he plays mostly as an anchor... On the other hand he is very strong, but requires good knowledge on his combo mixes, which aren't easy to pull without proper training first. Hard to master but very rewarding varation.

Goku Blue has slightly better when on point.
Overally Goku SSJ>Blue because his assist is whole much better while his on point viability is almost as high as Goku Bule's.
And overhaul, not that's it's revelant, but I've seen many very good SSJ goku players, where I've seen very few good goku blue players.
