I just saw the Episodes of Bardock...

I saw all the DBO Series (excluding DB GT), Brolly movie etc but never seen the Bardock movies.

Yesterday i saw Bardock the Father of Goku Episode (45minutes) and Episode of Bardock (22 minutes) and i have to say that i'm speachless....

Now i get it why he is so angry and got an strong attitude in the game! Also...the meaning of the bandana....is too strong!

Yes, Bardock movie especially original one, the first is powerful and very emotional, trunks story is beast movie too, but bardock probably best Z movie, hope you watched it in jpn, otherwise you ruined entire exp from the movie, but if you speechless you probably watched as it should be watched

I saw DragonBall Super 50% DUB 50% Japanese....I like the manly voices on vegeta on the DUB versions when he screams and stuff, the bardock movie i watched in DUB to see how his voice was. and i quite enjoyed.

the trailer for the broly movie shows a frame from looks like Dragonball Minus. Toriyama's rewritten Bardock. Hes not a badass rambo goku anymore in DB Minus hes like a good dad or something. no one really likes it but technically its canon and the og bardock isnt but the movie would cement that.

Episode of bardock honestly ruined bardock, who was one of the most original and cool characters

bardock is the dragon ball character who has been ruined the most out of all ever since the new dragon ball wave since kai.

he is such an interesting character in his original special only to causalize him and make him more marketing friendly.

dont care if toriyama deems it canon or not, dragon ball minus is fanfiction at best.
considering that he forgot about dragon ball quiet a bit it does not surpise at all.

Episode of Bardock can be excused because it had a very explicit product tie-in, that being Super Saiyan Bardock in the Heroes card/arcade game and subsequent video games.

Dragon Ball Minus is the greatest offender, both because Toriyama isn't an overtly sentimental writer like that, and that the man himself has adored the Bardock Special for decades, saying so again as recently as 2011, precisely because it is something he would never do. He reworked Battle of Gods into something different, let's hope he can pull it off with Broly!
