Hide threat levels in ranked queues.
It's difficult finding a game when everyone denies me because of my threat level, Tekken 7 did this and only shows Ping and it works perfectly. I'd like to be able to play the game without waiting forever because people dont want to play against someone with a higher color than them.

Amusingly enough, this is more true than people realize.

I go above and beyond to mark/list/remember the tryhards. I don't mind losing, and I don't mind rematching a loss that I get just absolutely destroyed in. Seriously, it's part of the game, always going to be better players.

But if I rematch you after getting my ass stomped, and you come back and try even harder? You're going on my list and I"ll never play you again. I will make the effort to let the MM count down the full 30 seconds just so you know, I'm purposly not fighting you.

Am I saying I expect you to let me win the rematch? Ofcourse not. But if I find myself in the situation I absolutely stomp someone and they're nice enough to remach me, I tone it down a little bit. I don't run a perfect on them just becuase I could. ANd guess what Leah.... They typically rematch me a third time. :o

And just like I think it was DigMcFig, if they're within a win from getting a rank, I'll goof around and make it a fun tight match, but let them get that win and that rank. And ya know what Leah? I rarely get someone dodging me.

Go figure right?

The problem ins’t the threat level, but the MM.
I’m yellow square, and rarely i fight a pink one, cuz i can’t land a single hit on them. That’s not fun and it can’t help me to be better. Same for u, at the opposte situation.
The mm should choose an average of +/- 1lv from yours

When you get a rematch, why do you expect someone to go easier than they did on you? Thats not the point of a Fighting Game. lol.

If ranked hid the squares, you wouldnt be complaining about Pinks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on you because you wouldnt even know they were a pink.

in ring matches but you don't want to do that either, cause 9 out of 10 of you are toxic jerks using only top tier

welcome to fighting games? lol

I'm sorry you lack the basic reading comprehension to get the point.

You just keep working on all those bans. You seem to comprehend how to get them, at least.

I agree with you people, like, if you are a tryhard pro and just wanna kick normal people's asses, this is not your game.
The game should match people with 1 color level range or maybe just same rank like other competitive games.

It's a fighting game, it has an evo spot. calling people tryhard just means you are bad and refusing to learn the game to be better, lol.

Hm, i guess someone got proven wrong and can't make any counter argument? enjoy losing more games on dbfz because you refuse to get better at the game. Instead of complaining about getting your ass beat, you should use that beating and the opportunity to rematch that person to learn WHY you got your ass beat instead of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about them not going easy on you after ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on you
With your 246 hours you should be able to comprehend that fact that fighting games are competitive and that you should be able to learn how to fight against people instead of complaining about people "tryharding" in a competitive environment.

Also color shouldnt matter, you can easily grind threat level in ring matches against other players and still level from people who have never played the game before.

You're right, but if you farm colors, you won't be good enough to beat the same color as you, causing you to lose and go down again.
Anyways, matching by rank should be good too, I mean, yesterday I got matched with a saibaman and I'm demon, he didn't knew much stuff about the game. '-'

The only thing I can relate to this with the color system is the medals you can see before you versus your opponent. Like I really want to have a "casual" match with some guy that has multiple 30+ gold medals. Ya know, kinda beats the fun out of playing the game. Especially when you can't do anything and they just lock you into combos.

then learn how to not get hit by the combos?
