It's interesting how some fans of FighterZ outright hate Budokai and it's fans

When we've shown pretty much nothing but love for this game. Sure they parrot the typical ♥♥♥♥ like "those games take no skill you just mash buttons", "everyone play the same ppppke", or "b3 sux dragonrush too good" but they go around talking down on the community and assume things about them how we hate FighterZ because it "actually requires skills" or it doesn't have like a gazillion characters even though we've been asking for a DBZ fighting game like this as well.

Instead of coming to a mutual understanding, they wanna cause another divide within the Dragon Ball player base.

Am I the only one who thinks that DBZ: Infinite World was the best ps2 title?

EDIT: I mean budoaki it's pretty much the same thing but Infinite World had more characters and the story mode was actually really close to the actual anime.

Like what you want to like, its that simple. Sadly the Budokai games (even though I never played them) are really old games and were never really made to be competitive or balanced liked the newly released DBFZ so in my opinion they shouldn't even be comparable.

DBFZ is more tailored torwards fighting game fans who happen to also like DB, but the Budokai games were games specifically for DB fans in general, which is why they are filled with hundreds of characters.

The internet's specialty is comparing apples to oranges so are you really surprised with the divide?

You are not alone, infinte world was something amazing. Most people just haven't played it ( OR HEARD OF IT ) because it came out so late in the PS2's life cycle

That's Budokai Tenkaichi. Budokai never had nearly made that many characters and Daisuke Uchiyama's game plan for Budokai wasn't that much different from Hiroki Tomoko's for this game. The difference here is the team had moved on from the franchise once they finally found the working formula with Budokai 3.

Budokai had a great deal of depth and complexity (well... for anime fighter standards at least) that tends to get overlooked by a lot of fighting game buffs.

It's a shame too because it could've been tournament-level but gimmicky mechanics (namely Dragon Rush) pretended it from seeing any major competitive scene.

Budokai 1-3 require skill and have ACTUAL combo inputs, budokai tenkaichi is where it gets "xenoversy" ...

Lol. Way to be so salty over nothing. Also, Back what up..?? I don't have time to deal with autistic man children like yourself sorry to disappoint you, I'm too busy having a life with my full-time career, wife, and infant son. I feel bad for you that internet words cut your special snowflake psyche so deeply. I think maybe it's time to kill yourself, since I don't have time to do it. Enjoy the rest of your day tiny diq cuck.
