Yes, that's how video games work. Attacks are telegraphed, they often have properties that you aren't aware of at first, then you see them do their thing and you learn to deal with it. Knowledge of the roster is like, basic stuff for a game like this. Do you complain too when you try and use Earthquake on Zapdos and then whine that you didn't know it was half Flying type?
Zapdos is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheap, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lighting bird insta killing my blastoise. Its terrible design!
Pretty much.
Slower then Ginyu's level 3? As far as I know its only Ginyu and 16 who can't naturally combo their lvl3 supers because they are so slow and don't seem to be combo-able.
I assume you mean Guldo's long stun move (qcf+ki button)? If thats the case then thats good to know but being able to confirm off of that would seems to be quite uncommon. I say this because I assume you would have to activate his lvl3 as soon as the opponent is in the stun state because if you wait to long they will drop out of it.
I guess I will have to try that in training mode because that is a good tool for Ginyu mains like me ;)
Also there is no way to consistantly combo using Guldo (probably a couple assists will help) so you can't really rely on Guldo hitting the opponent.
Its neat but not very good imo.
Yeah I assumed that but even then I could only see a handful of assists able to pull that off, like Vegeta (obviously lol), and maybe Gotenks.
It still takes to long to summon Guldo so even with an assist it will still feel like a hit confirm when trying to combo the lvl3. Hmm, maybe I just need to practice it more.
It can be done with other assists.
I see, but I recently stopped playing Vegeta and I don't think Nappa and Piccolo's assist will help me that much lol. Thanks for the info though, like I said before I probably just need to experiment with it ;)
1. Most, if not all, Lv.3 Supers have invincibility on start up that will go trough all beams and supers.
2. He isn’t just doing a Lv. 3 Super on Block. He uses the Advanced Guard (4S) and then does his Suicide Attack.
Miguel has a move similar in Tekken. High startup, instakills. Does no self harm.
It is the worst move in the game, because attempting it will get you bopped for 60% health or more given the situation.
I don't think tiers mean anything for DBFZ just yet given how new the game is, nor should anyone here be considering tiers unless they are going to ranbats and tourneys.
With that said, no intermediate level player will get tagged with this move more than once.
It is balanced, (not broken) because attempting to use this move will kill you if the opponent has even slightly decent reactions. If you get bopped by this guy every time, you should probably consider playing another genre.
