this is just not true at all
anyways, one meter bar to break out of any combo would be absolutely absurd. i would say maybe itd be fair if it took like 7 bars, or used up your spark ♥♥♥♥. really, though, i think the game is fine and doesnt need any more mechanics. combos can get pretty crazy and last over 10 seconds (even though theyre soft capped by a few mechanics), but its never been a huge deal to me, ive played anime fighters for a long time and i value their existence because theyre fun to do
as always, tho, the best combo breaker is getting good and not getting in combos in the first place
you didnt ask for advice, youre demanding that this game have a combo breaker
i wasnt memeing. genuinely, if you improve, you wont get comboed as often. there isnt a whole lot of general advice i can give you for that without knowing exactly what you do in a match
if youre looking to improve, join a DBFZ discord
There are no infnite combos in this game as far as I'm aware. It's even impossibe as some others have said. You just don't know how to block and defend so you keep getting hit.
100 hours in training mode is a lot, but you can learn a lot from 30 or so hours in it.
I understand that to be top tier it takes commitement and practice but from what I've seen and read on this discussion group the vast majority of the playerbase has already left because this game is damn near inacessible past a certain threshold online without devoting every waking moment to it.
Needing to spend time training in order to compete isn't specific to just this fighter. In fact, this is one of those most newbie friendly fighting games to come out in a while. And for the record, just a friendly warning. If you disconnect mid-match, the other guy does not even get his win, and eventually your name will turn purple. With a purple name people will know you D/C and might not even initiate a game with you.
It's a fighting game. They are hard. The vast majority of the playerbase are casuals who won't stick around in any fighting game. The game isn't inaccessible at all, it just takes a certain mindset. And it does require a time investment to get better, but it's nowhere near what you think it is. You tell me how much time you have to invest in this game a week and I'll tell you if your expectations are unrealistic.
I do agree that it takes time for skill to come but it shouldnt have to be mindless practice mode.
