DBS Android 18 costume DLC for DBFZ is already here.
This is a MOD created by some guy but what it really is, is he found a way to use this costume from the story mode. This is the same costume from the story mode, he just made it playable clientside offcourse. Like all mods nobody else can see it except you which is why releasing this as an actual DLC is important.

This brings me hope that this game would actually have costumes or for the very least this costume will be available for sale.

I am 100% certain that this is an upcoming DLC costume, everything is perfect with this mod. Which happens to be from the story, notice when she dashes her sleeves animate with the wind? that means ASW created this to be playable. They would never go through this much trouble on something they didn't intend to be playable ingame. It seems to be a current placeholder, she is missing alt colors as currently she can only use default base colors with this mod.

This gives me hope I can't wait for this to be released. I would gladly pay $20 US for this costume if I have to. Looks so much better than the current one ingame from DBZ 90's era

Skins are really not that hard to make. I'm no modder but I've spoken with a few Skyrim modders who made sword textures. It takes work, to be sure, but it's a f******** scam when publishers charge like 4.99 for skins.

It is a good mod. It works because it's simple costume. Just look on some another mods and you maybe notice some moments. For instance, textures clipping, lack of animation on some places and wrong lightnings.

I see this only working for tight clothes where nothing has to be animated like her original jacket or black gokus shirt for example.

Dude I would gladly take this!!!

I hate A18 stupid DBZ costume, the casual jeans from DBS looks a hell of a lot better I hope that Arc can actually sell us this costuume.

From what I gather this kid didn't make this costume from scratch apparently it is already in the game from the story mode which is how he was able to use it.

Let me think of how ArcSys makes their 3D models...

Stop motion film.

You have to replicate the SMF process to make a proper-looking costume in this game. Also, the model for casual 18 already existed in the game.

Yeah. So easy. Must be why the costume looks entirely broken in everything but some intro videos. This shows it can be done, not that it's easy. And it's definitely not "complete".

Fixing the lighting issues requires re-baking the lighting, as most of the shadows and highlights on models aren't generated in real-time. And that's not even touching costumes that add geometry to a character.

This video looks like better showcase, IMHO. But point of Arcadya still is.

I will happily pay $20 USD for this costume as is "broken" as is. I would use the mod but that means nobody else can see it except me, so I want to buy it.

That is fine, it's my money.

I dislike the current ugly A18 costume and would prefer the DBS version therefore I have no issues paying for it.

Her current model is fantastic.

Girl Jeans Jackets were very popular in the 90s. Nobody called them "ugly" back then.

Also, the title is a bit misleading. The model exists in the data, it's not done from scratch, just modelswapped.

it´s her story costume the normal version is fine https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=KmCv3xme8Nc

you can see all those clippings everywhere if you change the base color, but the lighting effects are another thing tho.
Dregnel Feb 4, 2018 @ 7:27pm
these mods are not made from the scratch they are being made with files in game the same with base goku and base vegeta, making mods to this game is not that easy cuz visuals they need to convert the 3D to 2D sprites based on lighting to have the feeling like a 2D game, just trying to let the people know.
