Specials not going off - advice?

Constantly running into special not triggering. Went into practice mode and was able to pop them off constantly. I then swapped characters, no issue, went back to first character and now all of sudden it's not working anymore.

i.e. Frieza will throw his discs instead of going golden. The input on the left shows I hit H & S together yet it acts like I only hit S. The output on the left is the same as it was when I had no issues.

If you are playing on a controller, you might want to always use Right Trigger to perform your meteors, some characters can use their meteor from Right Bumper because they don't have any other tools assign to that input, I might be wrong but your issue doesn't seem really clear to me, let me know if it works

I have a Hori Rap N, I've used both the 'bumper' and manual H/S.

I would understand it not working if the input on the left display was different but it confuses me when the input shows the same both when it works and when it doesn't work.

for me at least the d-pad on my ds4 dont input the quarter circle right if i do it to fast you mite need to slow down

Do you play continously without a reset? Because Frieza is only allowed to go Golden once per game. Android 16 cannot use his instakill more than once if you landed it, even if you gather meter for it. Some supers such as those two are once per game, and as such needs to reset training mode for them to work.

@Pigeon that might of been the reason. Didn't know about that - seems like it affects pratice too.

moves like that have a bit saying so in the move list when you hover over them

save your replays and look at what inputs are being counted. you may be doing it to fast
