Is lag switch really a thing?

This is not the first time that happens, when im about to win, the game starts lagging so hard and somehow the opponnent manages to turn the game to his side, even tho i have good internet connection the game goes from 3fr to 19fr out of nowere. Its♥♥♥♥♥♥♥annoying to play the match while appears a message saying please wait all the time

I bet you couldn't tell a cheater from a very good player in that game. They could be using a bot etc.

I used cheats in LOL with multiple accounts one of them went a whole year without getting banned. Let me tell you, before using cheats I didn't suspect anyone could be a cheater but after using it I was able to see which players are doing it very easily because you start to detect the nonhuman movement and execution.

Also, just like aimbots in shooters, it's hard if not impossible to tell a lagswitcher apart from, well, just a bad connection.

I see it this way:
- if you're not competitive... you shouldn't care
- if you're competitive... you should know online doesn't matter

So it's more about playing with ppl you know and just shrug away the online nonsense.

There might be macro users and ai coders but I don't think you would come across with a lot of them.

Real scumbags use this kind of gameplay. It's basically avoiding the fact that they lost, by cheating with a simple to construct program. Cowards tactic.

Let's be honest... real life or online - whenever there is a competition the cheaters will exist. Both commoners and pros can cheat and that's a proved fact.

Lag switch in this game ? Honestly, I wouldn't be suprised if something like this exist... especially when there is no anti-cheat in this game.
