Input lag with 3 or 4 frames delay
Guys, I'm having an issue when I'm playing online against people with yellow connection bar (3 or 4 frames delay).

The first one is when I'm obviously going to block an attack but I still get hit (crouching block to block crouching attacks and stand block to standing attacks). I'm getting hit very often and I only see this as input lag because I was almost antecipating an attack and then blocking it.

The second issue is when I try to punish my oponents after blocking a super dash. Even when I try to punish with a light attack, they are getting the first hit. Not sure if this is the game or if it's related to some characters in game (I was playing against Goku Black as Goku SSJ). The player wasn't using sparking blast.

I think this game is favoring buttom mashers in lag situations. I'm getting really upset and I'm starting to think about dropping this game for good.

Are you noticing the same issues?

Regards.

Filter out bad connections? I mean I really don't understand what is it you're asking of us.. improvement of your skills, or improvement of your connection, in which case, go Ethernet wired, and filter out only the best connections?

No need to be angry. I forgot to add the question.

Thanks for the information. I'll try that. If I filter yellow bar people, queues will get really longer. Do you think this is how the netcode works in this game?

I've just done that and the game changes a lot! I've been practicing with 0 input delay all this time. Thanks!

The game automatically saves every match you play as a replay. You can go to the replay guy in the lobby and view them. Turn on input display and the virtual controller. When it gets to around where you got hit pause. You can then step through in single frame increments and watch the virtual controller to see what happened. If at any time it goes from back/down back then you'll get hit. If at any time a button gets pressed, you'll get hit.

I had a "I was blocking!!!" moment and when I checked the replay the opponent had done a really small hop and hit with an air attack. Another time for whatever eason I was blocking then pressed light attack... the buttons on my stick are sensitive so that'll happen if I rest my fingers on them.

Thanks for your time to reply me. I was wondering if that was the reason too. Sometimes I get myselft pressing the button in the back (LT and RT) by mistake, maybe I pressed them while "blocking". I'll check the replay as you pointed.

Regards.
