Why is there only one grappler in the ENTIRE game???

That isnt a grappler. Android 16 is a grappler. Characters that have 1 or 2 command grabs doesnt instantly make them a grappler.

There are no real zoners either, but pretty much everyone has projectiles, grappling is a mechanic that is shared in a similar way. Grapplers is not a class like in a RPG. It's just a quick way to describe the style of the character. It's just that 16 relies on grappling more than the rest of the cast.

android 16 is the only grappler but is also one of the best characters in the game with super amour on H and Speed that makes Goku look slow on top of that REACH. why would you need another? but seriously there arn't many characters in DB, DBZ or DBS that are Grapple Style Fighters and forcing one just wouldn't work. they'd need a character in DBZ or DBS that is a Grappler to Add maybe in DLC we'll see one.

Probably because ARC is keeping too much to what the characters actually did in the show.

If they introduced Zarbon for example, he had a big ammount of grapling moves in the show, so they would make him a grappler prolly.

which makes it pretty likely that broly will be a grappler since he loves to grab people by the mouth or blast them in the stomach, or a combination of the two

keep in mind that with the way Dragonball characters are structured most of them are fast and can be versatile with their techniques, Freeza is called a zoner simply because a majority of his techniques have at least some ranged usability and he does have the most special button moves in the game, and in Z 16 was the only character who did use any grappling moves at all hence why it makes sense only he does, however when Broly comes out I suspect he will add another grappler to the roster

Several characters have grapple moves 21 piccolo and everyone has the rush grab... and Broly is coming sooooo yeah probably gonna have some op grabs.
