@Softest sure i can do that, but tomorrow, its late already.
Happy fighting and don't fall into the same pitfalls that scrubs like Flock fall into :P
yo scrub, why's gohan still there and not android 21 and bardock (and tbh a good gotenks) as well, if you gotta name the top tiers you gotta name the big 7. While those are definetly the top tiers they don't just make you win. you still need to know your neutral, how to punish stuff, how to escape corner pressure, oki, etc. And tbh black ain't top tier, dude doesn't have a low 2l.
To answer ops question: First of all get familiar with anime fighter input notation. (you have light (l) medium (m) and heavy attacks(h). If there is a number, that number corresponds with the direction on a numpad, 2h for exampe would be down heavy.) Watch youtbue videos, read a lot, watch what better players are doing, learn an easy to do combo after a launcher that you will almost never drop. Learn when your turn is and get used to not pressing buttons until you know you don't jsut get killed if you do. (as in learn when they are negative on block or back in neutral)
And most important of all: Play to improve, get better, not to win. If you end the match with having learned something new, you won in the long term. Winrate is meaningless, it doesn't show current skill lvl only how good you were in the past so don't be bothered by it.
So basicaly, i accept 1 in 5 matches. Because there's no MM Balance in this game.
Yeah, Rooflemonger is palying Nappa. Nappa is bottom-tier. And Rooflemonger is good at this game. On other hand, other characters of his team...

Some of them were obviously hackikng. Then I bought SFV on PSN and the game play there was more balanced in the sense that I wasnt losing as hard. Just putting this out there.
go into practice mode and try to figure out new combos. Remember that is harder to block down mediums. My personal favorite combo goes:
(Key: adding d to another button means down, adding u to another button means up, l = light, m = medium, h = heavy, s = special (Ki blast), qcf = quarter circle forward, qcb = quarter circle back)
dm, m, dh, h, l, m, h
This breaks their guard (unless they are crouching), hits them to prepare the next attack, hits them into the air, then hits them twice before finishing the combo and knocking them to the ground.
You can extend this by performing a z vanish (I believe it is h + s simeltaniously), which will bounce them off of the wall, and then you can either perform the grab thing (I forgot what it's called, it's where you bypass their guard, hit them a bunch, knock them in the air, and can continue the combo in the air) in order to force them to switch characters, or release it to just do a bit more damage.
You can vary this combo with certain characters, which you'll have to experiment with. With Goku Black and SSGSS Goku, you can do ddm, m, dh, QCF + m, hold forward + l, m, h, vanish, dragon rust, and then combo as you wish, such as adding a or just a normal combo.
So you just need to figure out the best combos. There are some really good videos on youtube which can teach you some combos.
Otherwise, try to crouch guard as much as possible. When you're dragon rushed, do a down heavy to counter. Try to recognize when you have a chance to get a hit in. If you'd like, you can add me on discord and I can help tutor you a bit. Just PM me on my steam account your Discord and I'll try to help as well as possible.
