Dunno. 1st place Piccolo sounds a lot better than 5th. You're not providing much of an argument here other than "his piccolo is better because I say so". Apologyman clearly knows more tech with Piccolo. He obviously has more mixups. He. Still. Lost.
I understand that you just can't handle the fact that HGG beat him, but he did. Deal with it. If his combos are more optimal, his mixups more numerous, and his neutral better, he would've won. It's that simple. Maybe Apologyman goes to CEO and beats HGG, then we can talk about how Apologyman is better. For now, though, he's not. Stop being so contrarian when everything points to you being wrong.
Appologyman's Piccolo didn't lose, his Goku lost.
HGGs Cell did more than his Piccolo.
You understand nothing at all.
I dislike Furrys, I was cheering for HGG but I also dislike spreading misinformation, the OPs text is just that.
You are so damn wrong it's laughable, first you assumed that any of the summit players has bad neutral (show better neutral if you think theirs are bad), now you think I'm salty that HGG won while I actually enjoy HGG and dislike SonicFox. You totally miss the point that all I cared for in this thread is correcting the misinformation.

Try rewatching the set, my man. Specifically, watch the final match. HGG's Piccolo killed 2/3 of Apologyman's team. Goku didn't lose anything. Goku has a hard time opening people up, but swapping Goku for anything else wouldn't have made Apologyman suddenly win. He lost because he got outplayed. It's that simple.
Objective information proves you wrong. HGG won. He is the better player. He outright mirror-matched Apologyman in the quarters and won. That's it.
I never even remotely implied anyone's neutral is bad. I said that if you can't win neutral, it doesn't matter how much tech you have or how optimal your combos are. Apologyman has the exact same problem as Cloud. They know a lot about the game but their neutral is multiple tiers below go1/fenritti/sonic/dogura/chrisg/etc. This is why they don't win.
You can be contrarian all you want and shift the goalposts all you'd like. The simple fact of the matter is that HGG beat Apology and won the tournament. Until Apology gets his runback, HGG is the best piccolo in the world.
Stop riding on the furry ship! It doesn't matter where HGG usually was in the past, people get better, and currently HGG earned the title of being the best until that title is taken away from him. He didn't just get lucky he has a decisive 3-0 against Sonicfox, everytime Sonicfox tried his cheap mixups, HGG was ready for them and counter every single one of them. No one has been able to do that so far, not even GO1, that's why HGG won he was simply the better player. Give credit where credit is do, HGG is currently the best player and Sonicfox lost to him 3-0.

It also does matter how effective your characters confirms are from winning the neutral and Gokus confirms are clearly much inferior to Cells.
He has the better team, not the better Piccolo. You seem to have a hard time understanding the difference.
Because Cell is obviously the better shell for Piccolo, you dope. I already told you Apologyman's shell is ♥♥♥♥. He knows that. He picked it. You keep trying to act like Apologyman lost because of Goku misplays or a lack of confirmed damage. Every time Goku showed up it was a 1v3 because HGG was tearing into him. I SPECIFICALLY told you to watch the last match because HGG's Piccolo won the match for him. Period. You're avoiding every single point inconvenient to you to constantly regurgitate the same thing.
HGG's Cell did way more against the American Players during the tournament. But his Piccolo put in work against every Japanese Player.
You see all of the ♥♥♥'s he played against always switched in Piccolo cause he was the biggest threat to THEM.
And SonicFox underestimated his Cell, that's why, I THINK, he lost to HGG.
(Cause everyone made fun of HGG's Cell including SF.
