I agree with OP, it's boring AF... Yet other arcs werent really great, but it kept a little interrest by testing different chars... C21's dont even have that...
But it's needed to unlock her
And most disastrous of all fighting clones is just grind.
Peoples who complained about MvCI story mode longed to it when they had to play DBFZ's story mode. But well if they finally fix servers so finding opponnt wont be taking 20 minutes and give more even fights I guess it all will be forgiven. All they have to do is to not neglect it.
I love the cutscene. If it only had cutscene and a fighting inbetween like Injustice have, I think the story would've been great.
It's a typical Anime story too so I forgive to dumb "Soul in another world" bs.
But the map jumping is so tidious. I think everyone EXCEPT the hardcore Dragon Ball fans that LOVE the cutscene and intereaction with each characters, thoguth the story was poorly made.
I appreciate the intention behind it, but it really needed to be dialed back in length and repetitiveness.
yeah that worked really well for SFV.
you kids cant stop complainning omg.
+ the fact 95% of fights are against Clones (Grey/red only) increase that repetitiveness feeling
I'm pretty sure that if clones actually uses random colors, I mean among the 12 (I think) usable colors... It would feel (a little) less boring (yet the pleasure of discovering every character color)
