Fix for problems with finding/joining games and matches.

Taken from Reddit:

"The game uses region based matchmaking for Casual Match, Ranked Match and possibly Arena Match. The reason you cannot find any games is because your Steam Download Region is different to your in-game Matchmaking region. If you try to find games against people that are not in the region that your Steam Download Server is set to then matchmaking will NOT match you with them.

All you have to do is set your Steam Download Region to the EXACT same region you are trying to play on in game. If you want to play against people from France for example you have to set your Steam Download Region to France and join an EU - France lobby in game. You will then start getting matched with people from France. Same for any other region.

I live in North Africa and I play with people in the UK. I could never find any games until I went into my Steam options, changed my Download Region to Manchester, restarted Steam and then joined the EU - UK region in game. After that I found games within seconds.

This has worked for many people and should solve the issue."

This works for Ring Match too. You and your friends need to have the same Steam download server set in your Steam settings.

There are times when ring matches doesn't work even when my friend and I set the download region to the same area.

That is a known issue that is apart from the region thing. They know about it and are going to fix it.

This is kind of silly Only people from the same region? So If I live in some Eu country with it's own region in the menu it will only match me with players from there? Would be better if they could use the entire EU area.

Yeah that's what it looks like. I don't know what the exact extent of it is but what I do know for sure is you get matched according to your Steam download region.

Can confirm that the moment i changed my region my i could join ring matches.
This is really dumb why would they do this?

I think it's because of how region-based matchmaking works on PSN. Instead of using your PSN region like it would on PS4 it uses Steam download server. Dunno why they set it up like that but luckily it's easy to solve.

It's not region based, it's continent based. If you chose france you can still play in spain or uk lobbies.

I was under the impression that world matches ignored the lobbies.

I might be just imagining it or it was coincidence but I was getting much more matches after I switched download server from Sweden to UK.
