Because Dragon Ball goes against the primary religion in india. For example Dragon Ball uses Gods like Beerus who performs Hakai which is in direct contradiction to Hinduism. Same goes for Vegito which is the strongest being in DBZ, this is direct contradiction to lord Hanuman who is the strongest being in India.

I would consider this ONLY if Hinduism was actually part of dragonball Z lore which I am 100% sure it isn't and considering the fact Dragon BallZ is the anime that I grew up watching while it aired IN Indian TV Channels . None of this is applicable on why a game like this should be not accessible to Indian players.

The internet happened and all the snowflakes in India started protesting and asking the government to ban anything that offends their religion, from what I gather it is Beerus who is the real threat to India. There is something about his Hakai that terrifies the religious people in India, that and the fact that people are more inclined to watch Dragon Ball as opposed to wasting their time on actual religion. So the preachers make less money and so they want Dragon Ball banned

I'm pretty sure Dragon ball super airs in india. So if Dragon ball was in conflict with the religion then the show also should be banned.

Religion is good at interpreting all kind of dumb stuff

Religion is only good for weak people who got no answers to explain facts of their current life. Having a religion means to listen to some kind of wisdom, "better people" so you can improve. I don't care about who believe in what or whom, but when this is getting dumb like now, restricting an anime because it offenses a god... This is stupid.

I don't think that Akira Toriyama or the guys responsible for the story of DBS have thought about offending a god. They don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ care about...
