How to Unlock Hard mode Story Arcs?

I beat all of the sagas and hardmode appeared for my super warrior saga but its grayed out and i cant click it? I have 78% completion for overall story progress but ive seen people with less than that overall and do hardmode. Anyone know the missing key?

when you summon shennron in a fight you choose "Unlock my potential" to unlock hard modes

Just select new game and it will ask what difficulty you want to start on

the issue is that its not appearing it just starts do i need to complete all three to get the hard mode for the first one or something?

I dont remember there being an option when selecting Story Mode; but the way I unlocked it was by completing all 3 story arcs, That unlocked hard for the 1st arc; beating it unlocks it for the 2nd, and that unlocks it for the 3rd.

This was on 2020/21 tho; so unless they changed it since then, you should still be able to unlock them the way i said.
