Game Loading Black Screen [FIX FOUND!!!]

The fix that worked for me for the problem detailed below the line was the following:

1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DRAGON BALL FighterZ\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2015 (You can copy and paste this into any opened window to go there directly)

2. Open vc_redist.x86 and install or repair.

3. Restart PC after that has finished.

4. Start the game up and with any luck, it will load.

Took me too long to figure this one out, but in the end it fixed my issue. Hopefully it will work for you guys as well. (Make sure to let people know in the comments if this fixed your problem.)

The long and short of it is right now the game is loading up to a black screen. (which sometimes decides to drop to a black window) I've tried the fix people have suggested for the UE4-RED crash at startup but that does nothing. I've also tried validating the game. Everything showed up fine. Tried running as admin, with and without full screen optimizations turned on/off and I've even tried various compatibility modes.

I cannot close out of the game by normal means either (the X in the corner for the times it goes windowed, right clicking in the task bar and closing, or ALT+F4) I have to force the game closed by ending the task in the task manager.

I've tried manually installing everything in the _CommonRedist folder, as well as UE4PrereqSetup_x64, but still the problem persists.

Anyone else having these issues, or am I the only one?

System Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800x
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
16 GB of DDR4 ram
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit (Windows game mode disabled)

After playing the game for over 95 minutes,I'm having the same problem. It really weird it was perfect a minute ago.

Same problem!!! NEED HELP!! Brand new tower, all up to date specs. no reason it wouldnt work! I got to launch the game once, go to buy a wireless adaptor and I come back to Fatal error!

Re-Installing didnt help, Running as administrator didnt help.. the fix earlier in the thread didnt help.. whats next

I'd be happy if I could even get that error. At least there is a potential fix for that lol.

I have the UE4 RED Fatal Error Crash! Its a tease becasue it happens after 1 MATCH! I deleted the app folder, I reinstalled it, it keeps happening or at atrtup or after 1 match! And its NOT my rig!

-Press Windows Button + R

-Type %localappdata%

-Delete the DBFighterZ folder

-Restart the game

I had pretty much the same problem, going into the game files and launching the game as admninistrator fixed it.

Clearly you never read my post fully. I already said I tried this fix and it doesn't work for me.
