Almost got screwed by hidden DENUVO malware!
What, so they can HIDE this malware inside games now, and not even have to declare it's there... WTF?!

https://i.imgur.com/osyMAQD.png

Someone really needs to start a class action against these charlatans -- because this pastime is becoming literally Orwellian in its machinations. It's not enough they a priori tar paying customers as "thieves" (notwithstanding kekking my ar$e off @ "stealing" intangible software that one would never pay money for in the first place! xD), but they can now hide hardware damaging, performance trammelling malware inside their games in order to sucker in naïve goyim customer who would otherwise avoid such trash like the Bubonic plague...?! Disgusting.

Not a cent was (or ever will be!) given.

Not even close to the point --

ALL THIRD PARTY MALWARE, SPYWARE, ROOTKITS AND THE LIKE, MUST BE DECLARED TO POTENTIAL CONSUMERS AND DONE SO IN A CONSPICUOUS, EASY-TO-DISCERN FASHION.

Hiding some "fine print" inside a Great Wall of Dog Tormentor text is not a declaration of pertaining intent... only a declaration to RIP CONSUMERS OFF!!

>tfw every Denuvo infect crapware meant to deter the "piracy" meme, spawns another million so-called "pirates"

Someone is really trying to show his single digits IQ
BlazeRomulus Jan 26, 2018 @ 12:52pm
It's not hiding if you dumb ass refuses to read the EULA that you HAVE TO AGREE TO IN THE FIRST PLACE.

What kind of idiot signs a contract without reading it ?

It's hidden with other software, installs without your consent, can't easily be removed, and compromises system performance. Sounds like textbook malware to me.

Hidden? It's in the EULA.

Doesn't compromise system performance, made up garbage by salty pirates mad they have to wait.

Got another single digit IQ user.

Lol at the notion that burying something in a lengthy contract doesn't count as "hiding" it. EULAs have repeatedly been shown not to be legally binding because they're specifically designed to trick people into agreeing to things that have nothing to do with the product they're purchasing.

I'm sorry reading is too hard for you.

I didn't get tricked by it. I've been using PCs for a long time and have learned how to spot and avoid malware. However, it's obvious that the vast majority of people don't read EULAs and companies use them to hide nasty things all the time.

You also didn't address the fact that Denuvo can't be easily removed, which is a very common malware trait.

The fact remains that if a game gave you the option of using Denuvo or not, absolutely no one would agree to use it. Some people tolerate it, but it's clearly an "unwanted program" by any security definition.

To those gormless goy gnats parroting the hackneyed "hurr-derr... read the EULA... derp... Denuvo's good for whatever ails ya" meme -- which obviously translates to: "I'm shilling for a dead in utero trashware, as well as invidious, avaricious (((corporation))) practices" -- you may also like: https://i.imgur.com/Bn36Tv3.jpg

Glad I did not get this POS game.

EULA is not even a contract. It does not even hold up in courts lmao. Unless it has any legal backing. Reading it is pointless.

Denuvo is trash, will always be trash. Trading and Sharing game has always been the history of gaming. Since nes all the way up to now. Denuvo is the enemy to all gamers. If you support them. You are also the enemy. You don't have a right to talk about someone IQ when you support anti gaming and consumer things like this.
