RED-Win64-Shipping.exe - Application Error

When ever i try to start dragonball figherz i get an error saying

"The application was unable to start correctly (0x0c0000142). Click OK to close the application

Followed by another message after clicking OK

RED-Win64-Shipping.exe - Fatal Application Exit
"Untrusted system file (C:\Windows\System32\wininet.dll)

ive been trying to find out whats wrong with this for HOURS now. if someone can help me that would be amazing. i paid $80 for a game not all this bs...

It did the same with me but apparently it was because MSI Afterburner was running for me.

Gente, yo acabo de actualizar windows, reinicie la Pc y despues ♥♥♥♥ verificar juego, y me vuelve a funcionar :)

Hey man, if the crash is just after the title screen i would suggest trying to go into the game files and remove the stuff from movies for some reason my game would crash every time a cutscene/ movie tried to play, may not work but worth a shot right?

All those who have this error know what is the solution is to go to Win 10 64 bits I say it because I had win 8 and the game gave me that problem greetings to all;)

I was having that error on WIndows 10, I reinstalled Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and I'll see if i still get the error. But WIndows 10 is a piece of ***.

i had the same problem too, i fixed it by installing my windows updates and removing the game from razer cortex

okey actually i just had a new update for Win10 and now the games just works, without me deleting or adding any new file...

Me in my case the "RED-Win64-Shipping.exe" was quarantined in my anti-virus ... I do not know why but if all the other walkthrough not walked and you do not check it was in quarantine do it. Because even after re-installation the file is kept in quarantine and the game can not start without it.
I hope it has been useful for some. =)
