I fix it for me try go to the steam folder - steamapps- common- dragonball fighter Z - easyanticheat- easyanticheat_setup and repair dbz and try again to start the game

I am having the same problem but repairing it didn't do anything also when I get this error my mouse begins to move to the left by itself. I have no idea whats going on please let me know if u find a fix

Maybe easy anti cheat is disabled.
1: Press "CTRL + SHIFT + ESC" to open the task manager.
2: Go to the "Services" tab and right click on anything there.
3: Click the option "Open Services".
4: In this new window "Services" window you will want to find "EasyAntiCheat". Sort by name if you need to.
5: Right click on "EasyAntiCheat" and select "Properties"
6: In the middle of the "General" tab you should see "Startup Type:". If the box next to it says "Disabled" then that is your problem. Click on the box that says "Disabled" to open a drop down menu and change that to "Automatic (Delayed Start)"
7: In the bottom right you will see a box that says "Apply". Click it to apply the setting, but there is one last thing before you close the "Properties" window.
8: On the bottom third of the "General" tab you will see four boxes. Click on the far left one that says "Start"
9: If it got disabled, then it will probably become disabled again on startup. Save a reminder on what to do to start AntiEasyCheat again in the future. Good luck on finding out what causes it. It might be less of a pain to manually start it after you restart your computer depending on how ofter you restart.

Darn. That sucks as I have no other idea on getting it started. Those steps always fix the problem for me on the couple games that anticheat is disabled on.

1. Click magnifying glass in windows
2. Type "Services" and click on the "Services"
3. Search for "EasyAntiCheat" or simply click E - A - S - Y
4. Double click on the entry
5. Change the Start Up Type to : Automatic

Start your game.

I fixed this, this is a different registry fix.. You need to go to the registry and put quotes around the imagepath. this works.

1. Press windowskey+R which should open the "Run" program.
2. From there, type in "regedit" and press enter, this should open up the Registry Editor.
3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\EasyAntiCheat
4. Click on the EasyAntiCheat map.
5. Right-click on "ImagePath" and click on "Modify".

then put " (double quotes) around whatever is there. So if it's C:\something make it "C:\something"

close that, and start your game.
