This game is too expensive

Considering that Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition has just been released, and all the other major fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Tekken, MvC, Killer Instinct and Injustice have much lower prices, I don't think this game is worth purchasing unless you simply HAVE TO PLAYING THIS GAME NO MATTER!

I was thinking of getting back to the fighting game scene and I was pretty excited about playing the new DBZ game. But this is just too expensive. Not only is it too expensive, they are gonna charge even more for dlc.

The developers (publishers) must be either desperate for money or confident that people will buy this game at this ridiculous price.

SFV is a terrible game; one of the worst fighters in years.

GGXrd is probably the best fighter ever. (the last game made by this dev team)

This game is worth 10x more than SFV.

The reason these devs are charging a premium is that they have a proven track record, a high pedigree, and an extremely popular and sought after license.

There hasn't been a good DBZ fighter well... ever

They can charge whatever they want and people will buy.

The complete editions of the games you listed all cost 70-80€. The only exception is MKX which is 3 years old by now.

Fighting games are expensive for whatever reason, it's not just this game.

All the games you mentioned where full price with a season pass when they released. I own every single one so I would know.

This game is the standard except I think the pass gives you more DLC characters then normal. Usually it's 2 passes with 4 characters each. This is one pass with 8.

I dunno I feel like it's just standard.

The games you mentioned are old, sfv ae is a re release of the 2016 game with more content & stuff like ki is way older

OK I honestly don't get why people are defending the pricing of this game. It is clearly overpriced, regardless of whether it is 10x better than SFV or that it has a Dragonball license.

Its already bad on Steam but on console it gets much worse. 70€ for the standard edition, 35€ for the season pass, a 100€ Fighterz edition, a 115€ Ultimate edition (barely any differences to the Fighterz edition, clear cashgrab) and 5€ for each new character as they come out?

Nope that is legit unacceptable. I am a huge DB fan and bought most DB games when they came out, and while I know Fighterz is probably the best one we've ever got and I really wanna play it I'm not gonna support more ridicioulous cash grabs like this

Not only did I pay full price for this game which is the best fighter I've played in years, I went out and got myself a RAP 5 for $150 then spent another $50 swapping parts out on it, boy do I feel awkward now, oh well back to practicing. :D
