Sale - is base game worth it? Or am I just going to miss the other characters

This game would be great for $15 dollars but not really looking to drop 45 on a fighting game for the full roster

Base game is great, you can just buy single DLC characters you want. You have to put a lot of work into each character so you probably wont be swapping between them a lot. You can choose your favorite and just buy that one.

Am I understanding this correctly. Vegeta and Goku characters don't come with the base game? It looks like they are DLC and not part of the base game, is this right?? Trying to decide whether to impulse buy this game but I do screen for at least SOME red flags.

those are dlc base goku and base vegeta (non saiyan form)

they are in the game but in super saiyan form

Not worth for single player since AI team are preset which mean you will fight the same AI teams over and over in Arcade mode, and the arcade mode doesn't include DLC characters as a opponent team although you own the DLC.

Base vegeta and base goku are dlcs. In the base game you have super saiyan goku and vegeta, and goku and vegeta blue.

Nope i dont think so. As stated in the store, the 100€/$ edition has just the fighter z pass 1. Not the second one. I bought main game and Pass 1 for 32€, separately. The edition that includes the pass is at 37€ for me. The Ultimate edition or whats it called has just some extras, but not all fighters. At least thats what the store page says for me. Think the second pass is just sold separately. So i decided to go just with the first pass for now.

Man, major game companies are all greedy af nowadays. Thanks for the input as well. I'm gonna do a hard pass and start playing GG Xrd Rev2 again.

Gotta agree, they haven't been greedy with this game at all, and the pricing model has been consistent.

It's amazing on it's own, i wouldn't worry about the roster too much,
wait for the chars to go on sale, they have a couple times already.
But imo, Tekken 7>Fighter Z, but i love both.
