What's the price in dollars?
So I'm seeing only regional prices (in mexican pesos) and they seem SUPER high, so I'm wondering what's the US dollar price for the editions... from what I read it's:

$60 - regular
$95 - fighterz
$110 - ultimate

Is that it? Can someone confrim please?

And if it is, ARE THEY MAD??? WTF!!!

Worst part is, usually regional prices here are lower (which is good since we earn waaaay less), except for some BS compaines like Crapcom who price them actually more expensive than the US price... This one is basically on par with the US price, so it's quite high compared to 90% of games on steam...

Ugh, I was REALLY looking forward to this game, but I guess I'll have to wait for a couple of years or flat-out Jack Sparrow it, something I haven't done in frickin' ages... =(

yep those are the prices the base game costs 60 dollars/euro and the seasonpass is about 35dollar/euro, not that rare to fighting games dragonball fighter z has actully one of the cheaper fighting game season passes, and you can just buy the base game so it's not that expensive no one is forcing you to buy the season pass :p

Yeah, something's up with the regional prices (and might be the reason why a lot of the people who are complaining seem to be based outside of America.)

Regional pricing applies to my country too, and we normally get games at half the equivalent in USD (for example, PUBG is only 759.99 pesos here, which is roughly equivalent to $15 USD. The US base price is $30 IIRC. Or Dragonball Xenoverse 2, which has the base game priced at $49.99, but in here it only costs 1,239.95 pesos, which is roughly $25 USD.)

With Dragonball FighterZ, the base game is priced at 2,400 pesos here, which is roughly $50. Regional pricing for this game only chopped off 20% of the price instead of the usual 50%.

(and as for people wondering why we're getting steam prices so cheap, the median income here is 22,000 pesos/month, which is around $440 USD.)

Ok thanks... Yeah I guess the season pass is okay-ish in price, compared to other games, but the base roster seems to be on the low size to begin with so, I'm not super happy with day one DLC's like this.

Yeah same here, I mean, they're not always half price, but usually lower than the USD price, except for some companies (like Crapcom as I mentioned)... I'm sad to see companies are starting to raise the regional prices, that's really bad for 3rd world country consumers =/

Actually, the Assassin's Creed games recently got like double the price in pesos, after many many years... even the old ones... that's completely BS too...

Base roster is 18 characters. And we're getting an extra 8 as DLC, not as Day one, but after the release of the game. But 26 characters all together is a pretty hefty roster for fighters. And for a 3v3, that offers a lot of versatility in teams.

yeah I guess... I dunno last fighting game I bought was KoFIV and it has a 50 character base roster, so I'm hardly impressed with anything under 30 as base rosters... =/

The base game is 68 dollars in my store (UAE) which is very expensive for a game letalone a fighting game, TEKKEN 7 was much cheaper at release I dont know why FighterZ has such price.

Yeah, I feel you, especially since I played a lot of MvC2, I'm kinda let down with the number, but I've been playing more Skullgirls, and I feel blessed to have anything over 20.

It's just the branding. Heading back to other games, Smash was 60 on release, and released twice, directly one after the other.

But games like this, i.e. AAA titles that have everyone's attention, that releases on multiplatforms, was no doubt going to be $60, if it is too much, you could always wait for a sale that includes all the DLC n stuff, but that might be upwards of a year or so after the initial launch.

True... but skullgirls is a true indie game (it had to be crowdfunded), plus it wasn't worth that much... =P

Well, the good news is that bandai/namco frequently do bundles, however I doubt we'll see DBFZ anytime soon in those =(

This really sucks, I wanted to preorder this, but it's really really expensive... can't justify the expense for something I want just for nostalgia's sake.

The price is too high for Mexico. But I should expect that from Bamco, just looking at their other titles (Tekken 7). That pushes us to cd keys stores or worse.

Yet, I'd be willing to pay that price if it had the Latin American dub from the show. They did it for Saint Seiya Soldier's Soul.
