For all Farmer´s here are the Update notes for the current Update 1.05j: https://steamcommunity.com/app/678900/discussions/5/3002172045210520572/
Now over the years I have read comments from so many experts that spout about how bad this or that game is, about how it should be done, etc.. But the funny thing is that I have never seen a single one of these experts create the "perfect" (or any game), themselves. I wonder why that is? They are constantly degrading games, but the rest of us players only get to hear how this or that game is sooooo bad, or how a group of developers are one name or another.
Also I wonder, why that since these "experts" know so much about games, that they haven't figured out right away that the game may not be to their expectations, & immediately get a refund?? Even funnier to me, is that why did they even buy the game in the first place. Most Steam games include screenshots & videos displaying the games as they are. Granted a few will use pre-production videos to display their games, but most use actual in-game images. So it amazes me how these "experts" missed that??
I have to apologize to these experts for my rant on their critiques of the game. But I am really looking for the perfect game that they apparently would make. I support many games that have features or game play that I wish to see more of. We all have to start somewhere. My hope is that this game (& many others), will keep getting better as time passes. I am old enough to have played games on teletype machines using BASIC programs. My how computers & gaming has advanced.
One thing is that I try to support games that I like to see more of. Hence I have just about every farming simulation game there is. Heck, I very likely have a game from the company that tried to take this game down. Either way, I try to support these type of games, since I figure that over time they will only get better.
Trouble with too many players today, is that they have lost the ability to use their imagination. Long before computers, I had a Tonka truck, & some Matchbox vehicles. That along with a pile of dirt, & I had a whole world. As stated above early computers had very limited graphics (or as the teletype - no graphics). So once again imagination, & the story allowed players to create the worlds. Over time computers have advanced so much that they practically removed the need for players to imagine anything.
But remember the landing on the moon was done by those that had imagination enough to keep working on a way to actually accomplish the task. The computers they used were so simple that it makes a pocket calculator look like a super computer. But these individuals worked together & did the unimaginable! Unfortunately, without imagination, all to many people have lost the ability to think of what the next big leap will be. Let alone how many really would not be able to make such a thing happen.
Also verify that your DLC was downloaded. Steam has multiple options on how games & DLC are downloaded, & you can have Steam wait to download items when you are not in a game. So go to the Downloads page, & manually tell Steam to download them right now.
I wonder what you have done?
