LOL, if I had it to do all over again from the start, with a new game, I would discourage my farmer from getting married. But I have over 1000+ total game hours investment in Farmer’s Dynasty, so I'm not going to go through the whole thing again.
The bottom line is that many players have had kids in the game and remain clueless about the mechanics the developers coded into the game to guarantee the likelihood for kids.
Happy gaming, and even though Timmy and Mia are the ugliest NPCs in the game, I have to love them.
p.s. Regardless of who your farmer married, the kids are going to be the same ugly NPCs.
Yes Please. I did manage to go to my wife and tell her I'm going to bed, she said "im little tired will come soon", and I went straight up to my bed. When I got there, she was already in her bed (suddenly), so not sure that helped. Every other time when she says that and I go to bed, she's not in hers then.
Sidenote: to the keen-eyed and observant players, they have noticed the wife pulling the sheets up (tucking in) just as the farmer gets out of bed. So if the wife didn't go to bed before the farmer, she went to bed just as he was waking up.
I like helping players enjoy their game a little more and eliminating a bit of frustration. Indeed, there are players far advanced beyond my experience and understanding of the game, but you won't get cheeky head games from me when I take the time to enter a discussion. Happy farming!
You are to be commended and recognized for your accomplishments with Farmer's Dynasty, but with all of your game time testing, I am somewhat puzzled that you didn't discover the developer's pregnancy mechanism.
I entered this discussion to help the OP player who had a question. The choice belongs to Beeroxxx as to what to do.
The information I offered is not untrue though you are more than welcome to try and prove otherwise.
And you should go on thinking your way is the only way and the right way because you are very good at that.
Thank you G-Gpa. Funny you say that, i just went to bed and when i woke up I saw a quick movement, which I now believe was the wife pulling the covers up. I think I'm still next to the bed (just paused the game quickly), and if so, I might just hop into bed again and see if that helps. Will definitely do the "sleep" again thing when I wake up. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you. I will keep you posted :)
Happy farming!
I've been trying all of September. That last comment I made to you, was in September, 30th I think. As per my last comment, I was still next to the bed, so hopped right back in, then when I woke up, I went to sleep again, waking me up on 1 April. I must say my wife has been acting "strange" since then. Normally I get up, go milk the cows and take out the eggs, by which time she's ALWAYS in the kitchen. As of 1 April, I would find her in the garden instead of the kitchen. Another thing I noticed was that before, she never wanted to come to bed when I said I'm going to bed. Now, twice, by 8pm she's already in bed when I get there. I'm hoping its a sign of pregnancy, and not just because it's April? She hasn't said anything about pregnancy yet.. I notice a lot of people say a "few months later" she tells you or shows a bump, but I'm not sure how long is a "few months" ;(
