Flowers withered

As I reached the 30th Sptember the times skips to april and everything seems ok, I mean, the crops are fine, already matured wich is nice, the Chickens, Cows, Gooses, Ducks, Dog, Cat, Wife everything and everyone survived the 7 months skipped but all the flowers are whitered despite of been very wet when I went to sleep.
This shouldn´t happen as everything else was "taken care of" so should the flowers.
Is not much of a loss when it comes to a few seeds but it takes so time consuming too redo all the flower beds I have around the farm. The constant checking the soil wetness and watering is already boring and time consuming that makes me want to quit gardening because it feels too much of a worry for so low profit/benefit but if I stop seeding flowers I see the ground staying like that uggly brown square all around the place.
And it´s April, so why would we waste time on gardening when we already have a lot of work in the fields that are ready for harvest and prepare again?!
A better system to deal with the flowers like the wife taking care of them by watering and maybe harvesting and seeding aswell and once dropped into the storage maybe make flower bouquets or something. Some automation to the flowers would be great or it does not worth the trouble to have gardening at all.
I wonder if the developer could take a look into this system and maybe change something to be more player friendly so we can have a nice decorated farm.

IIRC the wife does water any flowers in the actual garden. Certainly mine have not been watered by me and are fine. I don't remember if they die over winter but I did not plant any this year and the are still flowers so I guess they ought to unless one of the updates changed something.

While we all wait for our beloved dev to make our game wishes come true, here are a few thoughts to consider; imo, I consider preparing and planting a multitudes of flowers, within the farmyard only, a rewarding part of the game. In some years, I have accumulated upwards of 80 SP (Social Points) a day, because of neighborhoods appreciation. That adds up a lot of SP from April thru September. If we stay within the farmyard the wife will tend (water) the flowers as needed to maintain a Wet condition. The bees will make an abundance of honey (farmers gold) off the flower gardens in the farmyard. My farmer weed-wacks or runs the lawn mower / or cultivator (whatever you prefer, to groom and tame down all the wild stuff outside the fence and behind the barns, garage and greenhouse. Before the last day of September, my farmer gathers all (every) living flower from the flower beds, and either sells them (lots of coins then, or safely saves them in the root cellar (basement) for needed expenses in spring. Winter grain crops weather quite well over the six of winter. And, all living flowers not harvested before that long winters night, will die. That is a fact in my RL climate zone.
