Did you offload your beets from the harvester into a smaller tracketor and trailer, and then drive trailer onto the concrete ramp next to the greenhouse to offload your beets? Or did you try to dump the beets into the exclusively grain silo grate?
I'm asking these questions for clarification, because word pictures, no matter how well explained sometimes falls short. :-)
Here's what I've been doing, I run the harvester, then 1. stop harvester when full, 2. driver over to the bin area of potatoes/beets and expand the chute 3. I offload into the bin.
Would it help to put them into a trailer first? I notice the grate in the ramp and wondered about it. I'll do one more run and dump the load into a trailer and try again and let you know what happens.
It worked! I used a smaller trailer, so lots of trips, but it worked. Thanks for the advice!
