Some of you might noticed the game being offline again. Against expectations the other party has not settled and managed have the title taken down. We’re still fighting and strongly believe in our game. At this point we cannot make any predictions or promises besides that we’re hard at work looking for a solution. Dear all,

Here’s a small update about the issue. On the last day of the 14 days’ window the competitor in question again issued a further claim, meaning the game will still not be available for purchase in the near future. Again all allegations are unfounded. Currently our lawyers are doing everything they can to help get over this unfair situation. To clear up the biggest rumour: It’s NOT Silden we’re having issues with.

Of course updates will continue. If everything goes according to plan we’ll be rolling out an update by tomorrow (Tuesday, 6th) and one more towards the weekend. We’re stunned by how great you guys are supporting us through this uncomfortable times. Stay tuned for news and keep spreading the word!

Dear all,

Most of you have noticed the store page of Farmer's Dynasty is down and the game is currently not available for purchase. There have been some speculations and rumors and we have to apologize that it took a while to have the following information ready.

A competitor officially filed a DMCA case. Steam is forced to react on such a complaint and took off the store page for now. In our opinion this complaint is an illegal act and abuse of the DMCA law. All accusations are not substantial. We’re currently seeking legal advice and are also in contact with Steam about the further steps. We truly hope the situation will clarify soon and the game will be up for purchasing again. Of course updating will continue and the roadmap is still in focus.

We again want to thank you for your support over the last month - you are farm-azing. It was a beautiful rollercoster ride up to this day. In the next time we will need the community more then ever. Please keep on spreading the word. We'll keep you posted. :)

Around Tuesday 6th February, as long as no Case has been filed in court. Maybe sooner, as it is usuaully 10 - 14 working days after Counter Notice and Plaintiff has that much time to file in court. If they haven't the DMCA takedown will be dismissed.

Love the game but am concerned that the dev are no longer working on the game there have been no updates or anything else from the dev. I am concerned that they have abandon the game which really brothers me had the game too lomg to return it which I would if I could. At least get the treasure chest working in the game.

According to the posted "Roadmap for Development", the Devs stated that this week was set asside for "maintenance", & the planned update for this week was moved to next week.

So just give them some time. I know there are those out there that are trying to stir up all kinds of stuff, but if you choose to listen to them, then that is your fault. These dissenters all of a sudden have a 'wealth' of information supposidly about the company, but why didn't they post this earlier??

Well our beloved and dear Merck, speaking of myself. I wont make this mistake a 2nd time. And in case i will buy an EA do all the research i need befor i consider buying. I bougth the game in good faith, there was a lot going on in this forum. But after the DCMA it was noticable things changed and not for the better.

There are so many bugs in this game, at least they could at a slow pace fix things left and right. Like that door at the chickenbarn wich loses its painting every save game. That would calm the community down. And when people asking about the DCMA status well they even could say until further notice we can't comment.

Normally at sunday evening there was a bug or update cycle. When that is left out for today then be sure Merck the project is dead.

I don't personally believe so. This week was set asside for "maintenance", which 'could be a update' or not. It is wide open for interpretation. I personally belive it is for them (Devs) to do 'maintenance' on their end of things (which could be all sorts of things). So for this reason I am not worried about seeing any update this week. Next week will then be back on the Roadmap for Development schedule.

And once again I am still able to play the game, I still get enjoyment out of the game, etc... Do I wish more things would get fixed, - absolutely. But am I in a panic about them not working on it "right this moment" - no.

I have a 'gut' feeling that this game will return to 'normal' shortly, & this will all be 'water under the bridge'. I have owned other games that have had DMCA's filed against them. They are all up & running.

I thought long & hard about purchasing this game on EA (just like I do with all other EA games), & from everything that I seen at the time. And considering that I really am willing to try & support these types of games, that I ended up pruchasing this game. I have absolutely no regrets so far in my decision. Each player has to decide that for themselves, & then figure out how they feel about it. But I figure that if you want to have more of this type of game to be created, that you then sometimes have to take the risk & support them. Else, we will be stuck with the same old "lead you by the nose - down the path, thru this door, etc..." game play mode of game design that has been all too common.

I personally don't see any real help it is to constantly cut down the company & the game. If you don't enjoy the game - I understand that. But it really hasn't changed that much in this short time. Plus, if the other company had such a strong case, why haven't we seen them discussing it anywhere??

I have never said that I "rule the chat". I am just posting information as I see it. Much of which is exactly as stated by the Devs or others. Unfortunatly, many readers do not go any further than the most recent posting in the forum pages. They often don't go to the 'top' & see what is actually said. This has lead to many duplications or other confusion in the forums.

And if you really 'read' what I have said, I always state if I am 'assuming' or am projecting my thoughts on the game. All which any other player can then accept or reject as they see fit. I like to think that I am trying my best to only post accurate information. Or at least let others know when I am inserting my own 'asumptions' into the game.

I find if really funny when others are telling players to 'shut up'. I really wonder if they cannot accept some others information when it doesn't agree with their own??

I sympathize with your attitude Merck. But like i stated befor. I wasn't expecting updates or a lot of chatter.

But what i expected and ithink i speak for the majority here the way people feel about it is. There are a lot of bugs in the game. At least they could have fixed a bug or 2. The lack of bugfixes gives me a gut feeling.

A logical development is that people use the power of Google and look arround and by doing so figure things out. And learn that the ceo is leaving a trail of wreckage.

The development team also showed us there serious lack of expertise and add all these things up Merck sadly sadly can't say amen to that gut feeling of yours.

And i hope in the end i am dead wrong and you can say 'told you so!'

I am just saying that it is still early for these type of cases, & it would be best to not "poison the well", with a lot of the speculation that is going on here.

I understand that some players don't like the current situation, or how early access works. They all have to decide for themselves which way they want to go. But I think that a lot of this 'speculation' is not helping anybody.

I have made my decision & will live with it. Plus, I am not the type to use the "I told you so", since we all have our opinions, & are free to discuss them openly. Time will tell how this all ends up.
