Truck Hitch

Seems odd the pickup doesn't have a hitch. Had to drive my tractor clear accross the county just to get a hay trailer that should have easily been pulled by the new old truck.

SERIOUSLY? Found this when trying to search how to attach the trailer to the truck. Getting there was slow enough with the truck, taking the tractor there sounds so tedious I think I'm going to quit for the day.

The truck is brand new ( last patch ) most of us drove the tractor over to get it, it's not that bad lol

Even a 1/2ton pickup can tow an empty trailer. It's really annoying to have to drive that tractor all the way to the other side of the map just to get an implement that could be towed with the pickup IRL.

Well as stated above by others, it has been posted in the Wishlist & I believe the Bug reports forums many times in the past. I think the developers have stated that they have those items on their list of things to work on.

That said, I have mentioned in the past that I often don't drive by just the roads. I have agreements with all the other NPC's on the map to drive anywhere I want to (except for fields with crops - of course). We have a basic 'user fee' charge for me to use this alternative routing, & as per the agreement they can collect what I owe at any time - they just have to stop by the farm & ask me for it! So far real good

But, indeed you can travel over that map very quickly if you talk to all the landowners as I have!

Over a year later and there still does not appear to be a hitch on the truck.

It only needs to be a hitching point, nothing more. It's not like you could tow a full trailer of grain to sell, with no PTO on the truck you're not able to tip the load anyway, so you would still need the tractor there to unload the trailer.

It's just a means to get equipment from wherever you pick it up back to the farm to use. You can hitch anything to the truck but no PTO means you're just towing it faster than you would if you used the old Jack Bear or whatever.
