Crop rotation or why there is difference in crop size?

I have two fields 1.35 ha and 1.28 ha.
Both were plow 99%, cultivated and fertilized 100%. Both were sown with peas 100%. The only difference (except size) was that bigger one has scarecrow. And it was planted and sawed litterally day before smaller one.

But the smaller gives 1.2 tons more crop!
No "speed" sawing, no throwing grain on the floor, no grain left unsawed...

Is previous field history influens current crops, or "it just happened"? 1 ton is not a lot, itcan be ignored, but I am qurious. :D

What did you use to fertilise the fields? That can make a difference.

Did you hire workers or do it all yourself?

All work on both fields were made by hired workers. I only saw the crop.
May be it was written rounded 99%, but in reality in one field it was 99.4%, and in other it was 98.6% :D

They may be the reason in that case. They aren't always reliable and can leave out parts.
